WHAT IS SEO?

I think I answer this question daily, so I really should be able to explain this quite simply.

SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization". It's the process used to get a website to rank highly in the results section of search engines, such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.

For example, if I go to google and search: "Dentist in Chicago", the dentists that come up first on the page (not in the sponsored links section) are most likely subscribing for SEO.

The process is a lot more complicated than that, but since I answer this question daily, I have to give the condensed version!
